Overpriced for what you receive. There are some nice things I probably wouldn’t buy normally (soap, sunscreen, spices) and then some things that are probably warehouse discards (cloth coasters, cheeseboard, apron) which others have said could be found at discount stores for much less. The seed packets they sent never sprouted (none of them) and I always have success with seeds…I will try a few more boxes to give them a chance to improve. I have given several things for hostess gifts (picnic blanket and watering can) as some of the contents are actually thoughtful.

I look forward to receiving this box because it’s always filled with great surprises! My favorite hand soap of all time came from this box along with some other incredible gems. I enjoy all of the kitchen centric items and the amazing watering can that I now use to keep my plants alive & thriving! I hope they send more candles as my subscription continues. The Sunset puzzles are awesome too. I was skeptical at first but this box over delivers and is a great value for the price.

I subscribe to the $69. box and was generally disappointed each time. The positives were the cotton hand towel and some spices. The negatives were a different Sunset Puzzle (in each box! ) and a cheap little square black grill dish you could get for about $5.99 at any TJ Maxx or Target. After the 3rd box I cancelled.

Had it sent as a gift in December 2021, my fault for not knowing it was renewable. Recipient got the four quarterly packages and we thought it was done in fall 2022. In June 2023 we received a notice that we had been billed and it was renewed as of May 2023. No notices until six
Months later and the won’t refund the box and we are not going to ask the recipient to send it back. No response to our most recent query
Truly a grift. We cancelled our subscription to the magazine several years ago due to poor customer service and that the magazine is more online and the hard copy is not like “the old days” 🙂 so sad

I subscribed to the $150 box. Hated it all except the puzzle.
It had a lot of tea items. I hate tea. It also had some garden seeds and some other misc tea and garden stuff. It is dollar store quality. Huge rip off.

Just received my March 2023 Sunset Box and thoroughly appreciate the wonderfully curated items that were included. I live in the midwest and had worried that the items might not be as useful where I live but I was very happy to find out my concerns were unfounded. Thanks!

I subscribed to the largest box and received a variety of goods that varied from dangerous to beautifully made. Acacia wood products surfaces were very porous in need of linseed oil before use, knife non-cutting edges were not smoothed but catch your skin feeling like an unintentional but very sharp edge. The two enameled metal cups delight the eye and the hand printed 20” x 20” muslin square is worthy of a frame w/artful birds, pomegranates and leaves. The small package of cayenne, orange rind, cinnamon flavored almonds did not appeal to me-trying to be savory & sweet at the same time was just off. The jigsaw puzzle is classic Sunset. Mexican chocolate is ho-hum, but I’m a hot chocolate aficionada. Twineliving.com does not advertise their “cheese knife” set on their website so they may not be proud of it and are sharing it to get it out of the warehouse. The acacia cutting board was in need of linseed oil as well which magnified the small dents and ridges in it. I would not gift this box to anyone in its entirety due to the 8th grade shop condition of the wood& metal products. (Shop teacher probably would confiscate the knives)
