I ordered the Novels and Needles box in December for an April birthday gift. It did not arrive until May 22 and I handed it to my daughter without opening it. I am so ashamed that I gave her such a shitty box of dollar store items. The Zoom meeting to discuss the book is tomorrow, May 23 and this box did not even include the book….WHICH IS A CHILDREN’S BOOK! What WAS included was some disgusting, oily, runny cheese dip/spread that went straight to the trash. Also cheesy and trashy was a giant hair clip. There was a nice needle minder and a book themed tablet cover, along with a pretty color palette of floss but hardly worth $145!! I was robbed of my money and my daughter was robbed of a nice birthday gift. I am physically ill over this. The mother/daughter company should be ashamed of themselves for selling something that appears to have had ZERO thought put into it.
