Not real happy right now! Have not been receiving my seasonal boxes at all. Last week I received the most useless one I have ever gotten! Guess what I got the same box again today. Now I have two useless boxes. I want to cancel my so called subscription as of today!!!
In the beginning I loved receiving the boxes. I got my first few boxes on time. Then came time for my May box, and i didn’t receive it. Then came August I got my final box, I was told that was for the May box. Since then I have not received any boxes. I have reached out numerous time to ask about the missing boxes. And all i get is a a generated response, your box will be send by the end of the month and a email will be sent when it ships.
I am done asking when the boxes will be shipped. I have canceled my plus subscription. I now want a complete refund.
I would definitely stay away from this company. They are very unprofessional and the customer service needs a lot of work.
I relented and decided to order again the yearly boxes, I received the first box which was fine, my December box did not come and was told it would come in Jan…now they are saying February..There is no way to see when it will come and this happened the last time receiving my winter box in the spring. They seem to have an issue with their warehouse again…I would stay away from this company. They don’t have it all together….very disappointed.
I have subscribed to this box for about 5 years. But the last year 1/2 the boxed have changed. They started charging your account a month in advance, they did away with the cookbook, and put cheap dollar store items in the box which made the box only worth about $10 and were charging 44.95 plus shipping. I cancelled my subscription. Then they blew up my email wanting me to re-subscribe, offering me a free box and stating they include a cookbook, recipe cards and top products. So in December of 24 I relented and signed up for the box. Bad idea! Again the box had no cookbook, no recipe cards and dollar store items. Plus the free box was a duplicate box I had just received. Oh and was charged yet again a month before I received the boxes. So again I cancelled.
They are still advising a cookbook, recipe cards, and cool gadgets. Buyer beware
When the Winter 2024 box [Nov-Dec] finally arrived in late February it did not contain a Taste of Home cookbook. I had upgraded my previous subscription to the Plus box but really do not think this box was worth it without the cookbook.
I’m very disappointed in my last box, no cookbook, no description of items, items aren’t anything I will even use. I want to cancel but can’t log into my account
The Taste of Home subscription box is best suited for someone who is a novice in the kitchen and needs some help growing their inventory of tools and cookbooks. I bought it on the strength of their website, which promised, “From bold spices to handy kitchen items, enjoy popular new products that bring flavor & fun to your cooking.”
I like to try different spice blends, marinades, etc. so the “bold spices” were the draw for me. In reality, this box does not have food items in them. It’s a quarterly box of tools and a new cookbook.
The cookbooks are solid, filled with beautiful, color photos, and have recipes that your average home cook can actually accomplish.
As with any subscription box, the usefulness of the items is hit or miss. Some of them were genuinely fun and useful. Others were just throwaway products that immediately got donated. (Examples: a cheap red knife [red?!], an over-engineered garlic press [green?!], two small silver spoons) There are some popular brand names (KitchenAid, Joseph Joseph) in the boxes, along with others I hadn’t heard of before.
Generally speaking, the quality of the items was decent but it just wasn’t worth the price in the end.
I have not received my box and am wondering if it shipped yet or not
My last box did not have everything in it as stated. Was surprised. I am wondering if I should stop my orders.
Hi I am wanting to know if my august and September boxes have been mailed. You had taken a total of 55.41 out for two boxes august and September. They were taken off my account in Sept 7. Still have not received them thank you
