Crooked House Vintage Monthly Book Club Reviews

Once a month, you will receive one vintage hardcover book, printed between 1800 and 1975. Each book is carefully selected, wrapped, and packaged with care. Books are in good to very good condition with varying signs of use and wear associated with old books. Part of the fun is the vintage appeal! All are complete and intact with no major flaws, such as broken bindings, missing pages, unpleasant odors, or excessive soiling. Where dust jackets are present, most are covered in protective mylar.

Subscriptions are available in five categories:

Fiction & Literature — Expect mostly novels, but also occasional poetry collections, essays, or short stories. May include classics, westerns, science fiction, mystery & suspense, popular favorites, and forgotten gems.

Nonfiction — Could be virtually any subject, but expect a mix of subjects like history, art, cooking, science, biography & memoir, travel, nature, etc.

Surprise Me — Expect a nice combination of fiction, literature, and nonfiction.

Cookbooks — Most of the books will be hardcover, but there will be occasional exceptions for a special vintage surprise. You will receive a nice mix of general cookbooks, baking, entertaining, or specialty cooking.

Children & Young Adult — You will receive a nice mix of picture books, readers, novels & stories, classics, and a bit of nonfiction for the young ones thrown in.
