Almost Tea is not your ordinary tea. This monthly subscription curates tea inspired by great dessert makers. Instead of offering common tea flavors, they make it more fun and interesting by coming up with creative and delicious flavors you’ll want to drink again and again.

Bringing great teas you’ve never tried before – that’s what they focus on. Almost Tea is a brand launched by the same founders of Universal Yums, one of the best international snack boxes around. The idea came from turning boring teas upside down. And just like how adventurous they are with their international snack subscription, they brought this really crazy idea to life and took flavor inspiration from their favorite bakeries and donut shops.

They partner with a different regionally-loved dessert maker each month to turn their best desserts into tea. Each launched flavor or blend comes with a stamp of approval from the original dessert maker even before production starts! The teas match the flavor profile of a dessert, giving tea drinkers an amazing, delicious tea flavor that’s hard to come by.

What’s in each box? Almost Tea subscription gives you 6 never-before-seen tea blends to try every month, 5 sachets each. It includes an equal mix of caffeinated and non-caffeinated teas, which contains 30% more tea than most leading brands to deliver full unforgettable flavor. Not to mention, they’re free from sugar or artificial sweeteners!

Each monthly tea box also comes with a mini-magazine to help you know more about the teas in your box and the dessert maker behind it. It contains interviews, creativity prompts, and other fun surprises! It costs $29 per box on a monthly plan or $26 per box when you prepay for a year. Some of the flavors they’ve featured include Brown Butter Bourbon Blitz, Raspberry Caramel Fudge, Double Chocolate Chunk, Cinnamon Toast Munch, Chai Caramel Latte, and Spiked Apple Cider.

Since they’re relatively new in the business, the only box available for 2022 is their launch box from Brownie Points. The next shipment will come starting January 1st of the year 2023.
