I was really impressed with tempo when I tried it. I was looking for quick meals I could have either for lunch or after the gym to hit my macros without having to spend a lot of time cooking. I saw tempo on Facebook and gave it a try. I signed up and ordered a box with 8 microwaveable meals. It was over $100, but for the convenience I thought it was worth it. The meals are fast and taste pretty good, especially considering they have real food in them versus something like lean cuisine. The only downside is it’s only about 14 meals on a menu, but even with that I thought the selection was pretty good. Overall I’m satisfied with the meals for the price given the convenience, and I’ll continue to try these for the next couple weeks.
I requested a cancellation via the customer service email provided on their website. You are unable to unenroll yourself. I received an email asking for more information, promptly responded with requested information, and paused my deliveries for a month, figuring that would be time enough to get everything canceled. I never made any selections, and I was still sent a box and charged. I sent another email, no response and then called once I was notified that I received a box. I changed my mind because of their small selections, and am sure that I made the right decision seeing as how they try to hold your personal information hostage and make the process to unenroll from there service way harder than it needs to be. Completely dissatisfied.
Every Tempo option I have tried from my Home Chef order is loaded with preservatives. Please reconsider this. Chemicals in food is not good for most of us.
