I order curlkit on 4/6/20 and did not receive my box until 5/24/2020. They charged me for my second box on 4/24/20 and should receive my box on 6/6/20. per the tracking info that they sent to me. I had a concern since my tracking said I was receiving the April box again. I reach out to them on 5/29/2020 and still have not received a answer. this is the worst customer service I have every experienced.
I paid for a december box 12/10/18. On december 22nd they charged me again for the january box. They don’t respond to emails or fb messenger. The customer service sucks. I wouldn’t give them another chance if it was free. The box is a hit and miss. December box was awesome 6 products. But january they sent me 2 shampoos, a twisting butter and a hair moose. No conditioner or leave in. Had to go to the store and buy hair products anyway. Do yourself a favor and go with curl box not this one.
I received my January box today. There were 4 full size products. I think it’s awesome that I can try different products and save money. I am familiar with Creme of Nature which I see often at Walmart. This is a plus if I like it because then I’ll be able to get it locally. I’m all about instant gratification! At the time of this review, I could not find a website for Ori Essentials. I was disappointed because I wanted to know more about the brand and other products. I received minimal information about Ori Essentials from Curlkit’s website.
I doubt I will order from Curlkit in the future. I was instantly turned off when I was charged twice in less than a month for the same month.
I cancelled my subscription quickly with no issues from customer service.
I would definitely choose CurlKit over the other boxes from size alone. The other boxes give away samples by the box which is great if you weren’t natural or maybe a hair type 2, but for the natural hairtype 3 or 4 samples just won’t do it. Curlkit provides all full size products which is amazing because my thick hair needs it. another bad thing is that the curlkit will sometimes send you stuff from Walgreens and places like that. Easily accesible and you can go get it yourself instead of paying for something to be shipped.
