How the Le Tote Compares to Other Women’s Clothing Rental Subscription Memberships

Le Tote versus Rent the Runway

Rent the Runway is another monthly clothing subscription membership that works similar to Le Tote. You can choose membership plans of 4, 8 or 16 items per month.

The cost of Rent the Runway is higher than Le Tote ranging from $89 to $199 a month depending on your plan. The main difference is that Rent the Runway features high end designer brands like Diane Von Furstenberg, whereas Le Tote has mostly mid-level designers.

Both Rent the Runway and Le Tote have Maternity Edits, and additionally Rent the Runway has a Kid’s Edit. Both memberships let you buy clothing a la carte or purchase rental items at deep discounts.

Le Tote versus New York & Company Closet

New York & Company Closet is a women’s subscription rental clothing membership that is a bit simpler than some of the others. For $49.95 a month, you can rent 3 pieces at a time of New York & Company clothing items. The pieces are on the lower end when compared to Le Tote, but the price is great to mix and match casual fashion.

New York & Company Closet’s membership is slightly different from Le Totes in that you add items to your virtual closet (the recommendation is to keep 20 in there), and then the company gets to choose which 3 items are sent to you. Le Tote offers a bit more flexibility by letting you choose your own membership plan and items. Both memberships let you purchase rental pieces for 50% off.
